Lough Annillaun

Location:

Gowla Fishery consists of the Gowla river and connected to 12 loughs. The most famous of these being the Gowla Lough itself followed by Mannion\'s, Readman\'s, White\'s and Annillaun Lough. This fishery can be found north of Glinsk.

Catch:Salmon, Sea Trout & Brown Trout.

This is mainly a Sea trout fishery but has some Salmon contained in it, which has fishing from a boat on it. The best of the Sea trout fishing is present in June and evening fishing is good in July and August. The best day time fishing is in September and October.

Season:

Salmon are caught during February 1st - September 30th, Sea trout are caught from June 1st - September 30th, while Brown trout fishing is between February 1st - October 12th.

Methods:

Usually fly and spinning.
