The lake is easy to access and contains a good run of Rudd and Bream.

Cost: Fishing is regarded as free, although boat fishing is done here and they can be hired from Mr Bryan Joyce, Derrypark Lodge in Toormakeady.

Catch:Brown Trout

This is a good Brown trout lough with the average weight being 2lb. This is a heavily fished lough with public access being at Brownstown, Moorhall and Castleburke. Boat hire is available from Mrs J Flannelly, Keel Bridge, Partry, Tel: 092-41706.

Season:

The fishing is between March 1st - September 30th.
