Huge catches of Bream up to 5 lbs can be caught, with the best locations near the navigation posts. Other fish include Rudd, Perch and some Pike. Up-river near Annacotty you can catch Bream, Rudd, Roach, Hybrids, perch, Pike and Eel. Note: The river in this area is a mixed fishery, with Salmon and Trout in private patches. The water is controlled by the ESB and anglers should exercise care in fishing only designated coarse fishing stretches. Advice can be got locally.
